Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate die-cutting machines to produce high-quality printed materials
- Read and interpret job tickets, specifications, and layouts to determine setup specifications, such as die type, pressure, and cutting speed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments to the machine as necessary to ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure that production schedules are met and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, taking appropriate precautions to prevent injuries or accidents
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies, notifying supervisors when replenishment is needed
- Continuously seek to improve production processes and procedures, offering suggestions for efficiency and quality improvements as appropriate
