- Inspecting and testing completed work to ensure that it meets specifications, requirements, and safety standards
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, subcontractors, and supervisors to complete projects
- Providing estimates for materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects
- Performing general maintenance and repair work on existing structures and equipment
- Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Keeping accurate records of time spent on projects and materials used
Requirements:
- Knowledge of different types of tools and their uses
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience in working with various materials such as wood, metal, and plastics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
