Responsibilities:

  • Inspect roofs to determine the best repair procedures
  • Measure and cut roofing materials to fit around vents, chimney edges, and valleys
  • Install vapor barriers and layers of insulation
  • Align roofing materials with edges of the roof
  • Replace damaged or rotting decking boards
  • Install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions
  • Cover roofs and exterior walls of structures with slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, gravel, gypsum, and/or related materials, using brushes, knives, punches, hammers, and other tools

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in roofing
  • Must be able to work at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Should have knowledge of different roofing materials and techniques
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Should possess physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work for long hours
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Should have good communication skills to interact with clients and team members
  • Must adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times
