A Coffreur specializes in constructing wooden or metal frameworks for concrete structures. Responsibilities include designing, building, and dismantling formwork and shuttering systems for infrastructure projects. Expertise in carpentry and construction is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
  • Prepare the construction site by cleaning and removing debris
  • Cut and shape wood, plastic, and other materials to prepare forms for concrete
  • Pour, spread, and level concrete using various tools and techniques
  • Ensure that the concrete is set and finished according to the desired specifications
  • Inspect and repair concrete structures as needed
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in the construction process

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a coffreur or in a similar role
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
