Co-pilots assist in navigating and operating aircraft, sharing responsibilities with the pilot. Tasks include monitoring instruments, communicating with air traffic control, and managing emergency situations, ensuring safe and efficient flights.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the pilot in navigating and operating the aircraft
  • Communicate with air traffic control and other ground personnel
  • Monitor weather and other flight conditions to ensure safe operations
  • Perform pre-flight checks and assist with aircraft maintenance
  • Assist with takeoff and landing procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and safety standards
  • Provide support to the pilot as needed during the flight
  • Handle emergency situations and make critical decisions in the absence of the pilot

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Commercial Pilot's License (CPL) with a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR)
  • Minimum flying experience of 500 hours, including 100 hours on the relevant aircraft type
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the Captain and other crew members
  • Good knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures
  • Strong situational awareness and ability to make quick decisions in emergency situations
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Physically fit and able to pass the required medical examinations for the job
