Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk and supervise the reception staff
- Coordinate guest requests, including making reservations, arranging transportation, and providing recommendations for local activities and attractions
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requests to ensure a personalized experience for each guest
- Communicate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure efficient and timely resolution of guest issues
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies for the front desk and concierge areas
- Train new employees on front desk procedures and customer service standards
- Stay up-to-date with local events and happenings in order to provide the most current and relevant recommendations to guests
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, including balancing cash drawers and preparing daily reports for management
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a luxury hotel or resort as a concierge or related position
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field (preferred)
