Responsibilities:

  • Perform land surveys to establish boundaries and property lines
  • Assist surveyors in measuring and marking land for construction projects
  • Set up and maintain survey equipment, including tripods, levels, and total stations
  • Record and document survey data, including measurements, angles, and distances
  • Communicate with other members of the survey team to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures while working on job sites
  • Assist in the preparation of survey reports and maps
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the survey team leader or supervisor

Requirements:

  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as tapes, levels, and theodolites
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Knowledge of construction materials and their uses
  • Basic understanding of construction plans and blueprints
  • Reliable and punctual with good time-management skills
