- Ensure the safe operation of the vessel and compliance with all regulations and laws
- Supervise and manage crew members, including hiring, training, and scheduling

- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of the vessel and all equipment
- Handle emergency situations and make quick decisions to ensure the safety of all on board
- Plan and navigate routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods or passengers
- Manage the budget and finances of the vessel and its operations
Requirements:
- Valid Captain's License or Certification
- Proven experience as a Captain on a similar vessel
- Knowledge of navigation and safety regulations
- Ability to lead and manage a team of crew members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform duties on deck
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve in high-pressure situations
