Bellmen serve as the first point of contact for hotel guests, responsible for greeting, assisting with luggage, and providing information about hotel amenities and services. Tasks include door service, luggage handling, and guest transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests with luggage and belongings during check-in and check-out
  • Deliver messages, packages and other items to guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to guests
  • Ensure that the lobby, entrance, and baggage storage areas are clean and presentable at all times
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints that may arise
  • Assist with valet parking and retrieval of guest vehicles as needed
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of guest supplies such as towels and toiletries
  • Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift heavy luggage and stand for extended periods of time
  • Familiarity with hotel facilities and local attractions
  • Professional and polished appearance
  • Flexibility with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in a similar role preferred
