Actors interpret and portray characters in theater, film, television, and other media platforms. Responsibilities include studying scripts, attending rehearsals, and delivering performances under the director's guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Memorize lines and perform them for live audiences or on camera
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and other actors to interpret scripts and develop characters
  • Study and research characters, settings, and periods in order to portray them accurately
  • Rehearse scenes and perform multiple takes until the director is satisfied
  • Apply makeup, costumes, and/or prosthetics to create the desired look for a character
  • Attend auditions and casting calls to secure new roles
  • Promote productions through interviews, appearances, and social media
  • Continuously develop skills through acting classes, workshops, and networking with other industry professionals

Requirements:
